Gerber and High
Street

In this project we explored Gerber Technology and created a pattern using this technology. We had the task of researching a high street store which uses gerber technology and design a garment for the brand; keeping in mind of their signature style.

Zero Waste

This project focused on zero waste fashion design and pattern cutting. Our task was to experiment different zero waste pattern techniques from designers Holly Mcquillan and Julian Roberts. For our final we selected or would find an alternative for zero waste pattern cutting, with an underling message behind the garment.

Minimalism

This theme explores through Brutalist, Modernist and Minimalist architecture through photography and to use this to develop textile designs, both digitally and manually. Our task is to translate the theme into a multitude of different fabric experimentation and explore the way towards an abstract interpretation using a multitude of manipulation and printing techniques.
